My weaving practice is dedicated to the discipline of craft. To me, weaving is an antidote to a culture of immediacy. Each of my weavings is a physical manifestation of time spent in focus and solitude: an increasingly rare and valuable experience. My practice aims to create objects that are beautiful and meticulously made. I hope these weavings will bring joy to your home.
Recently, my work has explored how subtle variations in weave structure can transform color. I draw inspiration from the Quebec landscape, the ever-shifting skies and changing seasons have given me endless color inspiration.
My work is made of Canadian wool, hand dyed and handwoven by me in my studio, located in the beautiful Gaspé region of Quebec.
Each piece is one of a kind, never to be reproduced.
